Transfer works equally well on grayscale or color images. A nice effect can be achieved applying Transfer to an image that has a sepia toned effect.

Brush on the Transfer effect to apply to just the areas you want and then selectively remove it from any area you desire using the Iron tool to smooth out the wrinkles.

Transfer simulates a traditional photographic technique whereby the emulsion is transferred from an image onto a piece of moist tissue paper and then worked with a brush until wrinkles and folds appear on the image.

Transfer allows you to brush over the image to form wrinkles and to gently push them into place and shape the resulting effect to simulate the traditional technique.
