Uninstall Instructions for Plug-Ins
Many of our customers, while trying to install our software, make the mistake of installing in to the wrong location and not into the Photoshop plug-ins folder. If you feel you may have installed to the wrong location, use these uninstall instructions to fix the problem.
In other cases users need to uninstall the software so they can reinstall it in a new location (such as when you upgrade to a new version of Photoshop). Use these instructions to properly remove the software before trying to reinstall it again.
Step One
Close all running applications including Photoshop, our applications and any other programs you may have launched.
Typically you can use the Add / Remove programs feature under the Control Panel to uninstall our software. This works only if you have installed the software one time and in one location. We find that some users, however, while attempting to install the software into the plug-ins folder of Photoshop, mistakenly install multiple copies in wrong locations. If you feel you may have done this, we suggest conducting a search for specific files to track down any and all copies of the program to ensure all instances have been removed.
Step Two
Identify WHERE you have Photoshop installed on your computer. The default installation address should be something like this:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins
Step Three
Open the Photoshop Plug-Ins directory and find the Auto FX files that are installed there. The files and folders you are looking for vary from product to product. See the list below for details on what you are searching for to remove.

In the example screenshot above, the Photo/Graphic Edges 7.0 Platinum Edition full version plug-in is installed in the Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins folder. To remove this all you have to do is click the PGE7 folder and the PGE7_PlugIn.8bf file and then drag these to the Recycle Bin (or right click and choose Delete from the context menu).
Step Four
If you believe you may have installed more than one copy of our software it is important to do a search to find all installed copies. To search on Windows go to your My Computer under the Start Menu and right click on it and choose Search under the context menu that appears:

What to Search For:
Depending on which program you are trying to install you will need to search for specific files. Type in each keyword for the program you are wanting to uninstall - this will locate any additional copies of the software you may have installed and should delete:
