In this tutorial we will show you some of the most basic tools of the software so that you can quickly and easily dive into exploring your creativity with DreamSuite Ultimate.

Open up a photo by going to the File > Open Photo menu command. In the plugin version, with your image open, go to the filters menu. Under the Auto FX Software section you will find DreamSuite.

The basic menus are located at A. Feel free to explore these menus as they have important options you may want to use such as Save and Open Image. The Select Effect Menu is located at B. This is where you will go to select your effect. Your Brush Palette (C) and Layer Palette (D) will be used on a regular basis and it is important to know what they are. At E you have Ok and Cancel which are used in the plugin version of the software to return your image into Photoshop. Ok will bring your image back to Photoshop with the changes applied. Cancel will return your image unchanged. You will also see the Select and Save layer preset buttons. These buttons will allow you to save the options you currently have selected on the effects applied to your photo. Once saved out these presets can be accessed under the Select Layer Preset menu. There are several presets already available to you in DreamSuite as soon as you purchase the software.
